Calculated using the following method based on the stipulations of the Act on the Promotion of Women’s Active Engagement in Professional Life:
Male and female wage differences = Female average annual wage ÷ Male average annual wage; Average annual wage = Total wages ÷ Number of employees
The number of overseas local employees and the number of employees who took a leave of absence for more than six months during the fiscal year under review as well as the amount of their wages are deducted from the above number of employees, annual wages and gross wages.
Since (a) above includes employees whose children were born before the said fiscal year but who took new childcare leave in the same fiscal year, the take-up rate may exceed 100%.
